Hold Trans
This function stands for ‘Hold Transaction’. It has two main functions: as a way of securing the terminal by requiring the a login to continue or to hold a transaction against a system user’s operator ID, therefore allowing another user to continue a separate transaction.

– Operator ID Prompt –
This is a new security feature and is designed to minimise the risk of improper use of operator logins. This functionality should always be used when leaving a terminal.
If a transaction is held against one or more operator, a warning will appear when returning to the Main Menu indicating operators and/or Tables with outstanding transactions.
